Every weekend we partner up with a different local rescue society or organization in town to help find forever homes for their adoptable animals! PSA: It’s National Pitbull Awareness Month!!

In honour of that, we’re going to feature a different Pitbull every weekend for the month of October! This weekend we’re partnering up with RainCoast Dog Rescue Society to try and find a forever home for “Honey!”

Adoptable Honey, is a super sweet and loving, 4-5 yr old, female, 42lb, short and stocky, brindle and white, American Staffordshire Terrier X Staffordshire Bull Terrier. Honey has so much affection to give and is always ready for cuddles with her gentle and really loving demeanor. She likes to go for walks, light hikes, does fairly well on leash, and she would do best in a medium to low energy household. Honey has been fine around dogs her size and bigger, but seems to be quite curious of smaller dogs for the time being, so we are going slow, and she just pulls with curiosity every now and then. Now she hasn’t been tested around kids or cats yet and prior to being rescued she was used for breeding and was sick before she was dumped, but she’s now getting the healthy life she deserves and is ready for her new and loving forever home.

If you’d like to meet Honey, she’ll be at RainCoast Dog Rescue Society’s Adoption event on Saturday from 1pm-2pm at the Bosley’s on Burnside!

If you’re interested in applying for her fill out an APPLICATION. For more info on other adoptable animals or becoming a foster parent, check out RainCoast Dog Rescue Society!
