Congratulations to Brittany Johnson! You are the recipient of the $1,000 Ted Rogers Scholarship from KiSS 103.1!

Brittany was nominated several times for her outstanding contributions to our community.

“Brittany is a student at University of Victoria. She is bilingual (French and English), is athletic and wants to be a teacher. She’s generous with her time volunteering at the following: on the Board of  Directors  for the Société Francophone, volunteering at math mania, at local libraries in the reading buddies program, in school classrooms, and dance studio, at Mustard Seed and a homeless shelter, organizes summer games at camp. She is a great example and inspiration to everyone she meets and would be a fantastic candidate for this Scholarship.”

“Brittany is a dedicated student who aspires to be a teacher. She’s not only committed to her studies, but also involved in her community. Brittany’s community involvement ranges from being a board of director for the Societe Francophone de Victoria to volunteering in school classrooms and local kitchens. She’s coordinates with the Mustard Seed and Special Olympics as the philanthropy chair of Kappa Beta Gamma.”
